How to set up and activate automated processing capabilities within DigiFi' platform.

Introduction to Process Automation

DigiFi's platform includes built-in process automation capabilities, reducing manual work and streamlining the lending process.

The platform's process automation is divided into two main sections:

  • Standard automations are pre-built by DigiFi and included in all accounts. These include certain configuration options (discussed in detail below).
  • Custom automations are custom-built at your request, for your company's specific lending requirements. These include unlimited configurability and are coded by DigiFi's Professional Services team.

Both Standard and Custom process automation can be toggled on or off within the platform.

To configure Process Automation, navigate to LOS > Configuration > Process Automation.


Standard Process Automation

DigiFi's platform includes the following Standard Process Automation functionality:

Automatically reject applications that have been open for {X days}.

Activity

Adjust X days.

Rejects old applications.

For example, you may want to close all Applications after a certain time period for regulatory reasons or if the underwriting information is deemed to be stale.

Automatically re-open borrowers to new applications after {X days}.

Activity

Adjust X days.

Unlocks Borrowers so they can re-apply.

For example, you may allow Borrowers to submit new Applications every 90 days.

Automatically assign the following label {X Label} to applications that have been open for {Y days}

Labels

Adjust X Label and Y days.

Assigns a specific label to old applications.

For example, you may want to add a label Expiring Soon to Applications that will soon need to be rejected.

Automatically assign the following label {X Label} to applications that have not been updated for {Y days}.

Assigns a specific label to Applications that have not been updated.

For example, you may want to add a label Needs Attention to an Application that has been sitting idle.

Automatically email customers when their application is received.

Email

Select an email template from your SendGrid integration.

Emails new applicants.

Automatically email customers when their application is approved.

Emails rejected applicants.

Automatically send a daily reminder email to customers with active applications.

Custom Process Automation

Custom process automation provides unlimited flexibility for automating complex processes that are specific to your company or lending workflow.

Common examples:

  • Sending data from approved loans to your loan servicing provider and/or funding bank.
  • Implementing custom email communications to your borrowers based on specific triggers.
  • Integrating vendors that are not supported "out of the box" within DigiFi's system (e.g. other e-sign providers, etc.).
  • Almost any unique process you want!
