A major update to "Tasks" has been released, enhancing the experience of team members working with tasks within applications.

In addition, a new trigger ("When a task is moved to a status") has been added to the Automation Builder, expanding your capabilities in automation creation.

Lastly, we have released minor bug fixes and UI improvements.

Release Details

New Tasks Kanban Board

Just like the application board, there is now a dedicated task board for you to manage tasks. This board allows you to conveniently track tasks by their statuses and due dates. It also enables you to easily drag and drop tasks between different statuses.

Internal and External Assignees

Tasks will now have internal assignees, who can be specific team members, members of a designated user permission group, or team members assigned to the application. Additionally, you will have the ability to specify external assignees, such as borrowers, co-borrowers, or intermediaries.

Please note that, following this update, task assignment is no longer directly linked to application assignment (this change was based on customer feedback that separate assignment would be very helpful).

Task Title, Internal and External Instructions

Tasks are no longer limited to "Descriptions". Now, while creating a task, you have the ability to add a "Task Title," which is separate from the actual task instructions. Additionally, you can now include instructions for both "Internal Assignees" and "External Assignees."

Task Labels

Just like application labels, you will be able to add labels to tasks. This feature will help you organize and filter tasks based on specific criteria or categories, making it easier to find and prioritize tasks as needed.

Additional Task Statuses

We are introducing new task statuses to give you a wider range of options for task management. The new statuses include "Not Done," "In Progress," "In Review," "Done," "Canceled," and "Failed."

Categorization by Loan Product

Much like the organization of applications, tasks will now be sorted by loan products. This new categorization will give structure and order to tasks, making it easier for you to find and manage tasks under specific product categories.

New Trigger in the Automation Builder

We added a new trigger in the Automation Builder that allows you to automate actions based on task status changes - "When a task is moved to a status". With this trigger, you can create workflows that are triggered when a task is moved to a specific status.
