Dealertrack
How to connect your Dealertrack account to DigiFi to receive loan applications, send decisions, and more.
Overview of DigiFi-Dealertrack Integration
The DigiFi platform includes a built-in integration with Dealertrack, a widely used platform in the automotive financing industry. It connects dealerships with lenders, enabling them to submit, review, and process loan applications efficiently.
You can set up this integration to access applications from Dealertrack, send decisions back, track and receive comments, and stay updated on deals – all while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Credentials Configuration & Field Mapping
The Dealertrack integration is available in the DigiFi Marketplace under the Vehicle Data category. To complete the setup, you’ll need an existing relationship with Dealertrack.
Lender Code
Dealertrack assigns each lender a Lender Code, which serves as a unique identifier for authentication and application processing. You must request this code from Dealertrack and input it into DigiFi during configuration.
Loan Product Selection
You need to select a loan product in DigiFi where applications from Dealertrack will be routed. The system displays all active loan products, allowing you to select the appropriate one.
Dealertrack Environments
Dealertrack supports two environments, which align with the corresponding DigiFi modes:
- Dealertrack UAT Environment – Integrates with DigiFi Test Mode for testing and validation without
affecting production data. - Dealertrack Production Environment – Integrates with DigiFi Production Mode for processing live
loan applications.
Providing Endpoints to Dealertrack
To receive applications and comments from Dealertrack, you must share the appropriate DigiFi API endpoints with Dealertrack. These endpoints should be requested from DigiFi and shared with Dealertrack during the setup process.

Field Mapping
Mapping of Dealertrack fields to DigiFi variables is required for receiving and sending application data. This mapping represents the structured Dealertrack fields, and the user needs to select the corresponding DigiFi variable for each field they wish to receive or send. Only the fields relevant to your process need to be mapped.
Some fields are automatically mapped by default:
- System Fields: These fields are predefined in DigiFi and are indicated by a gear icon. They cannot be changed, as they are essential for maintaining the integrity of the data flow.
- Standard Variables: Certain fields in the Applicant Data section are mapped to standard variables to ensure borrower and intermediary uniqueness.

Dealertrack Application Section
Once the Dealertrack integration is connected (at least the UAT environment), the Dealertrack section becomes available in the Lending System.
To enable it, navigate to Lending Setup > Your Loan Product > Lender Application Views > click on the blue Pen icon and activate the section.

Once activated, the Dealertrack section becomes available in the Lending System, allowing users to manage credit decisions and comments for applications received from Dealertrack.

Dealertrack Send Decision Action
In addition to the new section, once the Dealertrack integration is connected (at least in the UAT environment), the Send Decision to Dealertrack action becomes available in Automation Builder.
To add this action, navigate to: Lending Setup > Your Loan Product > Automation Builder > Create an Automation > click on + Add Action > Send Decision to Dealertrack.
Once configured, the decision will be automatically sent to Dealertrack based on your specified triggers and conditions.
