Google reCAPTCHA
How to add Google reCAPTCHA to your standard digital portals to protect them from spam and abuse.
Overview of the DigiFi-Google reCAPTCHA Integration
The DigiFi platform includes a built-in integration with Google reCAPTCHA, a service that protects your digital lending portals from bots and prevents online fraudulent activities such as scraping, credential stuffing, and unauthorized account creation.
You can set up this integration if you are using the Borrower Portal orIntermediary Portal and you want to protect your digital portals from bots and spam.
How to Enable Google reCAPTCHA
It only takes a few minutes to enable Google reCAPTCHA for your portals. Click here to get started.
When registering a new site in reCAPTCHA, please select the following settings for the reCAPTCHA type:
- Challenge (v2)
- Invisible reCAPTCHA badge
Google reCAPTCHA requires domain entries, which you can find in the Portal Status section of your Borrower Portal or Intermediary Portal (e.g., portals.digifi.io).
After registering a new site, locate the Site Key and Secret Key on the "Adding reCAPTCHA to your site" page and save them.
How to Connect Google reCAPTCHA to DigiFi
Once your Google reCAPTCHA is enabled, you can integrate it through DigiFi.
To connect your Google reCAPTCHA to DigiFi:
- Navigate to Lending Setup > Marketplace > Google reCAPTCHA (for either the Borrower Portal or the Intermediary Portal).
- Provide the Site Key and Secret Key (available after registering a new site or in your Google reCAPTCHA settings).
- Click the "Save Changes" button.
DigiFi will automatically verify that the Site Key and Secret Key are valid. If they are, Google reCAPTCHA will be successfully connected to your digital lending portal.
