Decisions

How to automatically run and view the results of automated decisions for underwriting, verification and other use cases.

Overview of Decisions

The “Decisions” section includes the results of all automated decisions that have been executed within a specific loan product across all applications. From here you can find decisions that were run by team members through the DigiFi user interface, automatically through automation builder processes and by external systems using DigiFi's API.

How to Run Decisions

To run a decision through the user interface:

  • Navigate to the "Decisions" section.
  • Click the "Run Decision" button.
  • Select "Single Decision” to run a single decision. You will be prompted to fill in Decision Inputs, so you could get a decision result.
  • Select “Multiple Decisions” to run several decisions. You will be prompted to upload a Source Data File. You can download a template at your convenience.

How To Analyze Decision Results

The results of a decision can be found by clicking on the decision in the table, and include:

  • Decision overview information ("Strategy Name", "Strategy Status", "Execution Time", etc.).

If the decision was executed as part of Shadow Testing, a "Shadow Mode" indicator is displayed and shows whether the decision was run in shadow mode (Yes / No).

  • Processing details (decision result, decline reasons, errors, detailed module results).
  • The input variables to the decision.
  • The output variables from the decision.

How To Filter Decisions

You can filter decisions to quickly find relevant results based on strategy, source, outcome, or execution date.

To apply filters:

  1. Navigate to the Decisions section.
  2. Click Filters in the top-right corner.
  3. Select one or more of the following criteria:
    • Strategy Name: View decisions produced by a specific decision strategy.
    • Decision Source: Filter by how the decision was triggered (e.g. Web or API).
    • Decision Result: Filter by outcome (e.g. Passed or Failed).
    • Decision Date: Limit results to a specific date range.
  4. Click Apply Filter to update the table.

To clear all applied filters, click Reset in the Filters panel.

Filtering helps narrow down large decision histories and focus analysis on specific strategies, outcomes, or time periods.

How To Read Decision Result Indicators

To help you understand how a decision result was generated, DigiFi displays indicators when decisions are produced through Champion-Challenger testing. An icon appears next to the decision strategy name.

Indicator Types:

🏆 Champion Result: Decision produced by the Champion (primary) strategy.

🥈 Challenger Result: Decision produced by a Challenger strategy running in Shadow Testing mode. Challenger results are recorded for evaluation only and do not impact application data.

🆎 A/B Testing Result: Decision produced as part of an A/B Testing split.

Decisions that are not produced through Champion-Challenger testing do not display an indicator.
